Ash
A vessel shaped by fire, residue, and quiet release.
Ash is the final object within Study No.01 — Remaining. Made by Laima Ceramics, the mug carries a dark exterior and ash-toned interior, creating a quiet contrast between surface and depth.
Its textured band feels almost volcanic — porous, mineral, and marked by heat. The result is a vessel that feels grounded and protective, like cooled stone after fire has passed through it.
Within the study, Ash represents what remains after transformation: the trace, the residue, the soft aftermath. It is the evening piece — made for slowing down, settling in, and returning to yourself.
