Indikoi Ceramics

Indikoi began the way the best things do — two people in a drawing class, a borrowed sketch, a lunch invitation, and then a life built together. Founded by a husband-and-wife team with over two decades in ceramics, the studio is rooted in Bozeman, Montana, where every piece is made by hand in a shared workspace that is equal parts family and craft practice.
Indikoi specializes in crystalline glazework, a technically demanding process in which crystals are grown directly within the glaze matrix during high-temperature kiln firing. The result is a surface that cannot be fully controlled or replicated. Each crystal forms according to its own logic, shaped by heat, chemistry, and chance. No two pieces are identical. For Undefined Objects Study No. 01, Indikoi contributes Dew, the water element, its Sky White crystalline glaze catching light the way still water does — quietly, and differently every time.
