Laima Ceramics
Founded in 2013 by designer-maker Laima Piliņa, Laima Ceramics is a contemporary studio producing handcrafted porcelain and stoneware from the Latvian countryside near Rundāle Palace. Trained in the UK and apprenticed under a master Latvian potter, Laima built a practice rooted in slow craft, material sensitivity, and objects made to be lived with daily. The studio's work is held in homes, restaurants, and collections across Europe, the United States, and beyond, and has represented Latvian design at Maison & Objet in Paris and NYNOW in New York. For Undefined Objects Study No. 01, Laima contributes Ash — the fire element — a piece that carries the quiet intensity the studio is known for.
